This is actually so brilliant and helpful. It covers the foundational concepts of book action excellently and by extension the anatomy of action in storytelling so well. Thank you for making this freely available! I have been writing my story in the form of a novel with the hopes of adapting it to a comic book as well, and I have always been a little concerned with how I would actually shrink all of that word count down to suit a a comic book. People really sleep on how skillful comic book writers are in combining their art and writing to tell intricate but concise stories, it’s a difficult and impressive art that I’m obsessed with. Creating thrilling and engaging action scenes in comic books is one of the things that makes a true master, and this is so helpful for me. Thank you.
I'm so glad this was so helpful to you! There's so much about this that I'm still learning, and I have so much more to learn throughout this journey, but I'm glad my own thoughts and observations are of value to you! I will continue to do what I can to help others learn from my own mistakes/triumphs.
Wishing you the best of luck on your novel, what a tremendous adventure it must be.

Thank you SO MUCH Dean for Following the project over on Kickstarter, and sharing it. Honestly it means the world!
This is a really cool look at the process! Also, the way the skeletal arm flies through the FWOOSH when severed is *chef kiss*
That was all Tom! I guess this is why letterers are sort of a big deal huh haha

Ahh thank you Ivan. I'm happy to have gotten to this point. Enjoy the panels, MANY more to come as soon as this Kickstarter is complete.
Amazing analysis of the way to draw an action scene! I love it and I can't wait for Quiet KS to launch! [Insert meme of "Shut up And Take My Money!"]
Nice to know I have some people who are 100% backing this no matter what happens. And Jorge, you helped push me in this direction!!
Absolutely! No matter what happens, I will back this! :D
